NEET 2024 Row LIVE: The NTA is facing a storm of allegations of irregularities and question paper leaks in the conduct of NEET-UG this year along with cancellation of the UGC-NET due to a paper leak on the darknet, and postponement of the CSIR-UGC-NET. CBI investigators probing into the NEET paper leak on Tuesday met officials of Shastri Nagar police station once again, where the first case was lodged early last month, sources said. The EOU arrested a total of 18 people including prime suspect Sikandar Yadavendu, his associates, a few aspirants, and their parents in connection with the case. They are all in judicial custody now. The CBI re-registered one case each from Gujarat and Bihar and three cases from Rajasthan as its own FIR and is likely to take up another case from Maharashtra’s Latur. With the new cases, the CBI is now probing six cases of alleged irregularities in NEET-UG.
