The summer vacation, which lasted from June 23 to July 7, was announced earlier in view of the severe heatwave. Even before the break, school timings were adjusted due to rising temperatures. However, with weather conditions expected to improve post-July 4, officials have confirmed that the holidays will not be extended.
Education officials reiterated that the 15-day break was adequate and underlined the importance of resuming academic work promptly to ensure syllabus completion and sustained learning progress.
