The Border Security Force (BSF) has announced the recruitment for 1121 Head Constable (Radio Operator and Radio Mechanic) posts. Candidates with 10th, 12th, and ITI qualifications can apply for these positions. Detailed information is available on the BSF website, bsf.gov.in.
Of the total 1,121 vacancies for Head Constable posts, 910 are for Radio Operators (RO) and 211 for Radio Mechanics (RM). The application process will begin on August 24, 2025 and conclude on September 23, 2025.
BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Head Constable (Radio Operator): Candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects or completed class 12 along with ITI certification in Radio, Electronics, etc.
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic): Candidates must have passed class 10 along with ITI or completed class 12 with PCM subjects.

BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process include a written test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PST), document verification, and medical examination.

The BSF Constable Tradesmen recruitment is underway. A total of 3588 vacancies are available for various trades such as Cobbler, Tailor, Carpenter, among others. The application process will conclude on August 25. Both male and female candidates between the age of 18 to 25 years are eligible to apply.
For trades of Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Plumber), Constable (Painter), Constable (Electrician), Constable (Pump Operator), and Constable (Upholster), candidates must have completed matriculation or an equivalent qualification from a recognised Board. They should either have a two-year certificate course from ITI or from a Government-affiliated Vocational Institute, along with at least one year of experience in the trade.
For trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman), Constable (Barber), Constable (Sweeper), and Constable (Khoji/Syce), candidates must have matriculation or an equivalent qualification from a recognised Board.
